This family restaurant has been a respected breakfast destination for more than 46 years. The “namesake” steak n’ eggs is a two-inch thick, perfectly cooked sirloin steak, plus two fresh ranch eggs, cooked any style, with ranch-style potatoes or hominy grits and toast or flour tortillas.
Other popular breakfast choices include the Carne Asada ‘N Eggs, Huevos Rancheros, Corn Fritters with Egg & Bacon or Sausage, and 3-Egg Omelettes that are a legend in their own time.
They also serve classic favorites including Flap Jacks, Sour Dough French Toast, Eggs Benedict, and marvelously desserty homemade Crepes and Pastries. Their bartender can make sure any breakfast is complete with a Bloody Mary, Tequila Sunrise, Screwdriver, Champagne, or something else from the well-stocked bar.
Also try the carne asada, which is a tasty grilled flank steak garnished with green chili and served with eggs, refried beans and tortillas. There are nine (three-egg) omelets on the menu, plus sourdough French toast, flapjacks and giant, homemade cinnamon rolls.
