Caffé Bella Italia (2) is one of those great San Diego Restaurants that locals love. It’s a Pacific Beach area favorite for delicious tasting Italian cuisine. In fact, this restaurant has become so popular that they have had to expand by opening a second location in historic Liberty Station. The new location is called Solare Ristorante.

Both restaurants are overseen by owner/chef Stefano Ceresoli from Milan, Italy. He and his partner Francesca create memorable meals made from scratch with the freshest and organic ingredients. The menu features the best wood-fired oven pizza, lots of appetizers and tasty bites and several signature dishes. “Gnocchi” homemade potato dumplings in a fresh tomato sauce with smoked Scamorza cheese, “Ravioli di Magro“, which is tantalizing filet mignon in a delicious Barolo reduction. Do not miss the “Saltimbocca alla Romana” which is delicious veal medallions topped with cheese and parma prosciutto in a white wine sauce.

The menu also includes several gluten-free pizza and pasta options. Caffé Bella Italia is a wonderful and charming restaurant, where locals and Italians love to dine and they have a very impressive wine list.
