  • These Annual Events have all been personally reviewed. We're not a list maker site. We're a local's resource to the annual events that make living in San Diego so special.
We love showcasing the best historic local events such as the thrilling, nearly one-hundred-year-old, annual La Jolla Cove Rough Water Swim, which marks the end of summer and the charming 63rd Annual Ocean Beach Kite Festival, which includes a parade of kite flyers carrying their colorful kites down this seaside community's main street to the ocean to fly their kites.

Download the Cities & Suburb maps to find your way to these events. Every event offers you an opportunity to discover great places to eat. Each recommended restaurant has been personally reviewed by San Diego's Dean of Restaurant Reviewers.
