The 50-acre Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch on a hillside in south Carlsbad blossom into a spectacular sea of brightly colored ranunculus flowers against the backdrop of the Pacific Ocean. The experience is not less than breathtaking!. And literally next door are the Carlsbad Premium Factory Outlet Center. There you can dine and shop to your heart’s content.

The flower fields are at 5704 Paseo Del Norte, Carlsbad, CA (760-431-0352). Exit Interstate 5 at Palomar Airport Road. Then go east one block and turn left onto Paseo Del Norte. Make a right into the first driveway.

Open daily from 9 a.m.– 6 p.m. Admission is ($5-$10). Guided tours are not necessary but need to be arranged in advance.
