The anchor restaurants there include Acupulco's Mexican Restaurant, Rockin' Baja Lobster, Old California Mining Co. and the San Marcos Brewery & Grill. But there's plenty of variety with everything from American to sushi. One thing is for sure, you won't go hungry here. Plus there are a few charming village shops a bakery and a gallery. After dining, take in a movie at Edwards San Marcos 18- Stadium Cinemas (760-471-3711), which is located next door to restaurant row.
