Hotel del Coronado
The magnificent 118-year-old Hotel del Coronado at 1500 Orange Ave. (619-435-6611) is an attraction that should not be missed. Originally completed in 1888, it had the distinction of becoming the west coast's first hotel to be equipped with electric lights. The Hotel del is also an excellent place to stay, dine and shop.
