Lamb's Players Theatre:
Lamb's Players Theatre | Coronado

As one of San Diego’s leading performing arts organizations, Lamb’s Players Theatre is proud to be an integral part of the vibrant arts community in this nationally recognized cultural destination. They run shows year-round in two theatres, one is located in the charming island community of Coronado, just a short drive over the bridge from downtown San Diego. Their second theatre, the Horton Grand Theatre, is located in downtown San Diego’s vibrant Gaslamp Quarter. Both theatres are within easy walking distance of parking, great shops and terrific dining establishments.

Lamb’s Players is an artist-directed company providing a home for a resident company of actors, directors and designers. You will see the work of a group of artists who have worked together over 20 years – and each year you’ll also meet new faces. Along with presenting the classics and lesser known gems of the theatre, LPT has produced over 33 World Premieres and more than 30 Regional Premieres.

You’ll find our beautiful and intimate 350 seat resident theatre in Coronado’s historic Spreckels Building just two blocks north of the world famous Hotel del Coronado. An annual 5 play Season runs February through November, with December filled with a variety of Christmas productions.

Each year they set out a wide-ranging theatrical banquet, served from a varied and delicious menu – zesty musicals, robust dramas, rich comedies and adventurous world premieres. In addition to a year-round production schedule in Coronado, they also produce longer running shows at the Horton Grand Theatre Downtown.

Our staff writers visit all of the boutiques, attractions and events showcased on our site. They also dine in every restaurant. They go unannounced, pay for their own meals and often inspect the kitchen. Have you found something we missed? Your comments are always appreciated.
