March 6th The Ocean Beach annual Kite Festival invites all ages to enjoy a fun day of a crafts fair, parade, kite making and a flying contest. The event takes place 9 a.m.–4 p.m. at Ocean Beach Recreation center and Elementary School. Admission is free. (619-531-1527)
