One reason why dining at the Ocean House is so special is that the building was constructed in 1887, a year before the Hotel del Coronado was built. This Victorian-style building is so eye-catching that it’s the most photographed site in Carlsbad. Impressive main course selections include fresh seafood USDA Grade-A choice cuts of meat, pastas and gourmet burgers.

Easy to recommend are the New York pepper steak and the coconut shrimp. Desserts are also spectacular. In the evenings and on the weekends this restaurant becomes one of Carlsbad’s most popular night life scene. And they have two full bars to serve you.
