Rosarito Beach
Whatever your vacation pleasure, Rosarito Beach is an endless playground. Swim, shop, surf, fish, play tennis, golf or enjoy horseback riding on the beach.
Best of all, it's only 45 minutes away from downtown San Diego. After crossing the border just follow the green toll road signs that say "Ensenada Cuota."

Where to Stay
The best place to stay south of the border is Las Rocas Resort and Spa. This oceanfront resort offers a diversity of accommodations from standard rooms with private balconies, to a luxurious two-bedroom penthouse with a private outdoor Jacuzzi for two. Each room has a private balcony and a spectacular ocean view. See Rosarito Beach Hotels & Resorts.
Where to Dine
There are a number of wonderful restaurants in Rosarito Beach. One excellent choice is El Nido Restaurant (5), Benito Juarex Blvd. #67 (01152-661-612-1430). Open daily 8 a.m.-midnight ($6-$23). The speciality of the house is delicious cuts of beef cooked on an open grill with mesquite wood. Other entrees include New York steak, filet mignon wrapped with bacon, and lobster.
