San Pasqual Winery is the only active producing winery within the San Diego city limits. Their tasting room is open Sat. noon–4 p.m. Tastings cost $8.50 for 6 tastes.
The San Pasqual Winery was established in 2000 and is one of over a dozen local wineries prospering within San Diego county. What’s unique about this informal boutique winery is that it’s San Diego’s only urban winery. So being in the city is a great appeal to buying wines directly from the winery vs. retail.
San Pasqual offers a variety of red and white wines including chardonnay, sauvignon blanc, caber net sauvignon, garnacha, merlot, Syrah, tempranillo, and selected Rioja and Bordeaux-style blends. So come in an sample the wines before you purchase them.
