This mile-and-a-half long tropical island, is home to several upscale hotels, classic restaurants, boat marinas and one of San Diego's best views to see the sunset. Along the bay side, you can see several landmarks from Point Loma, to Coronado and sometimes even so far south as to see parts of Mexico near the border.
