The Falkner Winery (9) is an award winning winery worthy of discovery. So while you may be tempted to stop at the first winery that you see, be sure to plan to make a stop at the Falkner Winery for wine tasting and lunch at their spectacular Pinnacle Restaurant with its romantic vineyard views.

The winery sits on top of a big hill and commands a panoramic view of the wine country. Here too is their restaurant called Pinnacle Restaurant. The beautiful eye-catching structure is half moon shaped and sits on top of a hill commanding a panoramic view of the vineyards.
They have ample free parking for both the restaurant and the winery. So make it a point to discover both.
Once inside of the winery, you’ll quickly get the hang of how to taste the wines. First you purchase a certain number of wooden tokens from the cashier, which can then be exchanged for a wine tasting. So then all you have to do is mosey up to the long wooden wine bar and start sampling wines.
Their friendly staff will guide you through a flight of wines. After you have completed your wine tasting, you will undoubtedly want to purchase a bottle or more to take home for your enjoyment at a later date.
As for their Pinnacle Restaurant, it’s across the parking lot from the winery. The restaurant sits on a hill overlooking the Falkner Winery vineyards and offers a perfect vineyard view, which makes dining here a wonderful treat for fine dining and fine wines in Temecula’s romantic wine country.
The wines served at the restaurant come with suggested pairings and are Falkner Winery’s best along with excellent wines from other vineyards. From the kitchen come fabulous-tasting entrées prepared by Chef Gianni Ciciliot.
Highly recommended is the warm artichoke gratinée, which is a beautifully presented artichoke heart and roasted red pepper gratinée dip served with assorted crackers and crostini. Also highly recommended is the Santa Barbara salad. Excellent main course selections include a great-tasting mango salsa mahimahi with pilaf and sweet-soy vegetables.
Another winner is the 8-oz. flatiron steak grilled and glazed in a sweet and spicy soy glaze served with seasoned sautéed vegetables. Try the lobster mac and cheese made with rock lobster tail and prosciutto. It’s a Falkner special.
Enhancing your dining experience are the gorgeous bay windows with refreshing and romantic vineyard views, beautiful high ceilings and exceptional, eye-catching paintings. Save room for their delicious desserts because you don’t want to miss their chocolate chocolate brownie served with cinnamon ice cream.

And as you might expect of a top winery, they also have an impressive restaurant offering lunch daily.
The Falkner Winery restaurant is aptly named Pinnacle because it sits on a hilltop offering beautiful vineyard views of the Falkner vineyards. The Pinnacle Restaurant is open daily for lunch 11:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m. serving mediterranean cuisine.

Events can be held outside in their lawn area, inside in the production barrel room, in the new banquet/reception center, and in their intimate VIP Barrel room. You will also have beautiful, distressed wood floors, cove lighting, columns, a beautiful wine bar, and high ceilings with 80 feet of rounded glass walls with doors that open to 90 feet of outside open balconies facing the mountains, vineyards, and sunsets.
